Mailbox

A real inbox at you@email59.com

Pick an address and it's yours. Mail sent to it shows up here, on one page, where you read it, answer it, write new mail and delete what you don't need. For a business that needs an address today, before it has a domain or a mail server.

Read and answer

Inbox, Sent, Spam and Trash, with search. Replies go out from your address and come back to it.

Images and attachments

Pictures show inside the email. Attachments open on the page when the browser can show them, or download.

Several addresses, one page

Keep orders@ and you@ side by side and switch between them.

How it works, and what we keep

Where does the mail live? On email59. Each email is kept in our database; attachments and pictures are compressed and stored as files that only your account can open. Nothing is forwarded anywhere else.

What about mail sent to my address before I opened it? It isn't shown. A mailbox starts empty and shows what arrives from then on.

Can someone else send as my address? No. Once an address is a mailbox, only its owner can send from it, here or through the API.

What does deleting do? Delete moves an email to Trash. Trash and Spam are emptied after 30 days, or at once when you press "Empty". Closing a mailbox deletes everything in it; the address stays yours.

Is it a full replacement for Gmail or Outlook? Not yet. It's a simple web inbox: no phone app, no IMAP, and you write in plain text. It is meant for the first address a small business or a new app needs.
